This was so good and so dark and very unsettling, while simultaneously being poignant and heart-breaking.

I loved this story and felt immersed in the art, which made excellent use of color vs black&white.

I'll definitely be reading more by this author.

Really beautiful and quite horrifying and dark. An excellent exploration of how far we go to “protect” those we love. The art style was wonderful as well. I think I just wanted to know a bit more about each of the characters.

If I had a shadowy creature that ate my rivals, I may not be as eager to give it up as Aisha was... but I guess eating the cat really would have been the last straw for me too. Hard to trust something after that...

Really solid. Loved how the generational story gets told. The rushed ending is its weakest point, but still an emotionally satisfying, not-too-scary horror comic.
