If you are part of the romance community, you will probably know the story behind this book. Oh does it make me giggle and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book! Right from the start, I was completely enthralled with every word and every action of Kate and Miles. The chemistry and banter of these two had me giggling and swooning at the same time.
Throughout this story, you can see the fight both Miles and Kate have against their attraction and turning it into something more than just book research. There are so many ups and downs as these two navigate through what is and isn’t in their relationship. To say Miles is your perfect book boyfriend is putting it mildly. And the sass of Kate is hilarious. She really does give him a run for his money.
Overall, this book was everything and so much more. With the parts of the story being based on the events that happened to the author while writing this story, to the epic love story between Miles and Kate. This story will make every woman want a mechanic in her life!

Miles and Kate. Ummm. Miles and Mercedes. Ummmm....whatever this couple is fantastic!

Kate/Mercedes writes erotica. She gets her inspiration from a tire shop waiting room with free coffee and meets.... hot AF Miles! You’ve not read a more charming, funny, romantic fun romp better than this! Thank you Amy! You’ve made my night!

3.5 Stars. This was a quick cute read! I’ve been following Amy Daws and her Instagram stories about her real life tire shop experience so it was fun to see her life inspired this cute romcom.

5 COMPLIMENTARY CROWNS

Wait With Me by Amy Daws is complete romantic comedy perfection. I would put it in my top favorite rom-cons EVER. I laughed. I swooned. I never wanted it to end.

Miles is a fantastic book boyfriend. Lord, this man has it all. He has that rugged mechanic, outdoorsy swagger with a big heart. Add to that, the right balance of possessiveness and vulnerability, and Miles is firmly sitting among my favorite heroes. I never want to leave Tire Depot (I understand the draw. It wasn’t just about those cookies).

Kate is absolutely adorable. Not only did I love her talk a mile a minute shenanigans, but I love the whole aspect of her being a writer and not being ashamed of her romance/erotic writing. Seeing her come into her own with the acceptance of Miles is fantastic.

I smiled from ear to ear the whole time I read this book. It is truly the epitome of what a romantic comedy should be. It is sexy. It is romantic. It is fun and hilarious. It has a real conflict (although predictable) and flawed and lovable characters. It has a resolution that is utter perfection. There is not one thing I would want altered.

Endearing, hilarious, and sexy, Miles and Kate have earned a top spot in my rom-com loving heart. I never wanted this story to end. I’m not ready to move on from The Tire Depot. I can only hope we can return one day.
