The first 60%? Could’ve been more concise. The last 40%?? Fucking *chefs kiss*
"No one gets to tell us to tone down our rainbows. We’re broadcasting that shit, whether you like it or not."
Ugh I need more Avi & Kyran in my life.
I did not want to leave them, I keep tapping my kindle to go to the next page but there wasn't anymore -sad face-
This one was -fire- plain and simple.
It started in the perfect way, and it flowed beautifully.
There was spice, holy fuck was there spice!
There was also, emotions and an awakening that was just -chefs kiss-
Avi is the friend we all want and need. The ever "you can do it" no matter what the situation is. His friendship with Frankie was timed just right and to see her throughout and then some, if you know what I mean.
Kyran is the typical jock, or is he? Who we meet at the start is someone I wanted to nut punch and not in the way it's enjoyable to some (no shame, you do you) but he just grated on my nerves so much, like what is your deal dude.
Then WHAM... it presents itself and I said to myself, it's about to get a whole hell of a lot more interesting. And it did, boy did it get more interesting to put it lightly.
The dorm..
The shower..
The Mercedes..
Avi's Prom..
The hotel room..
and finally The drawing table..
There are more but these ones will live rent free in my head and I don't care one bit.
The hardest part of this book came in slowly throughout but once it was all laid out and painfully there it was almost a full circle moment and then it all makes sense with Kyran. Once it was all said and done I couldn't stop smiling, especially when it came to his dad and Avi.
I smile now just remembering these parts.
I can't wait to get more Avi & Kyran because these two are everything, I wanted to stay in Philly with them and see what else these two can come up with.
For the Fans.

Ok this book was really good until around the 60% mark. As soon as that big dramatic break up happened, every page turned just pissed me off more and more until I just couldn't take it anymore and dropped the book (74% of the way through according to kindle). All the characters are stupid, their decisions and mentality are stupid, and it's all just infuriating. I really wanted to like this book AND THE FIRST HALF WAS GOOD but holy shit did the second half lose me and then some.
EPIC LOVE STORY!
WOW. WOW. WOW. My jaw is dropped and I am clutching my kindle rocking in a corner. I am so addicted and invested in Ky and Avi I don’t want to let go! This book is all my favorites in one. Talk about a long story I can live in. A book with amazing character development and just plain amazing characters! Equal plot and spice that are both epic, and it can make you feel every feeling. Laugh, cry, & swoon. Here’s the tropes: It’s the college football player and the mascot…Need I say more? Will re-read this one forever and ever.
10/8/23 Audiobook Review: 3/5 stars.
Amazing Story but Desperately Needs Editing!
I did a Read & Listen of this Audiobook/Ebook. It was a re-read for me because I wanted to listen to this audio. The story itself was just as amazing as the first time I read it! I love everything about this book. The characters, plot, and spice, are all top tier. It makes me swoon, and cry. It’s the quarterback and the mascot and they are also enemy stepbrothers…so that should tell you how freaking good it is right there. I can’t ask for more from a love story. This one delivers it all.
However, since I read while I listened to this audiobook I was able to see probably 100+ errors. And it sounded like NO ONE proofed this audiobook! The narrators themselves and voice acting was good, but SO many words were either missed, the wrong word was said, or they switched around the order of the words. It can be confusing especially when they say words like “lips” and it’s “hips” in the book.
At one point a whole paragraph and then a whole sentence were skipped from being read.
There were several times background noise could be heard including lots of heavy breathing and such odd sounds. I guess I can’t fault them for that. This book can get you HOT. Lol but it shouldn’t have made it to the published audiobook.
The most glaring mistake these narrators made were not communicating on how they were going to read the names. That’s rule number 1. One narrator read the underscores out loud in the usernames and the other one did not. It’s just not consistent and I preferred not hearing the underscores read aloud because it flowed way better.
But they should have communicated and decided prior what they were going to do and do it all the same.
That’s my rant on this audiobook. At the end it desperately needed to be proofread and better edited! The final production sounded rushed and not up to the level of the beautiful story. I hope it can be edited in the future.

I thought this was going to be a breezy MM smut book, but it ended up being more in a way that really touched me. Don't misunderstand, it was still VERY spicy
