This was such a good book and I had an awesome time reading this one. This comic book is funny and relatable at the same time.This book focuses on the struggles of daily life and had me nodding most of the times in agreement. The dark humor in these comics work well with the art style.

This book made me laugh out loud on page 2! It has a zesty, wicked humor that I love. Even better, I have several friends who would absolutely love this book right with me! I fully intend to buy at least two copies: one for me and one for K. Maybe one for my brother, too. So good.
I used to draw sassy little stick figures in all sorts of situations, and this is that idea to the nth level. Not only was it funny, but it was funny because it contained so much truth about life. At the same time, you are laughing, but you are also nodding along and recognizing yourself in these cartoon characters.
The squishy emotions though - those are my favorite!

عادةً لا أميل للاستمتاع بالكوميديا السوداء، فهي غالبًا ما تؤثر عليّ بشكلٍ غير مرغوب فيه (إذ أنني حساسة بعض الشيء)، لكن هذا الكتاب كان يملك القدر المناسب منها. لم تكن محبطة بحق، بل مضحكة خفيفة على القلب. كانت أشبه بآلية للتأقلم وللتعامل مع البلايا، تبلُغك أنك لست الوحيد الذي يعاني. هي أيضًا وسيلة صحية لمواجهة المصاعب بألّا تنظر إليها كوحش ضخم لا يهزم. هذا لا ينكر وجودها، فقد تستغرق منك بعض الزمن والجهد للتعامل معها، لكن في بعض الأحيان تعاونك النكتة في مواجهة مصاعبك.
النكت كانت ماتعة بالفعل، يشترك فيها ويتعاطف معها أغلب البشر، هي كذلك ليست مبالغًا فيها زائدة عن الحد. كما أن الكاتب وضع بعض الرسائل الظريفة هنا وهناك لتلطيف الجو، والتي كانت حقيقية، عميقة، وذات معانٍ جميلة. بالنسبة لي، ولي شخصيًا، نجاح هذا الكتاب كان يعتمد على قدرته على موازنة محتواه؛ لا أن يكون ساذجًا ولا شديد السمّية، وقد أتمّ الكاتب المهمة على أكمل وجه، وأنا سعيدة للغاية بذلك!

4.5. Excellent collection of standalone comics. He does a good job of bordering on too dark or depressing but still amusing enough to consume easily. More than a few pages hit me straight in the gut but without a harsh bite that could send one spiraling. Loaded with empathy.

Such a lovely book with really detailed and colourful cartoons! I love how this comic series explored a variety of topics and yet they were all soo freaking relatable. And some of the comics were ADORABLE.
I really should read more graphic novels. Loved it! 💕
