Laugh out loud funny, and at times a bit irreverent. Every bit as good as her first book (which is to say far better than Tina Fey's and Amy Poehler's attempts).

Perfect beach read for the days I spent on the Cape this summer! Mindy Kaling's writing is conversational and funny. I find her to be very relatable.

Listen to the audio book. Such a huge step up from her last book which I really liked. So good.

Another funny and heartfelt collection of essays from Kaling! With a through line of confidence, this memoir bluntly tells the reader that there is no secret formula to anything, unless you count hard work. Whether it’s success, body positivity, or throwing the greatest faculty singles mixer ever, you just have to go for it and try your best.

I love Mindy Kaling, and I really appreciate how candid she was in this book. It felt like I was reading it at the exact right time? A good honest funny read.
