I usually love the darker side of novels like this but I just had a hard time relating to any of the main characters.
The main character Cassie is a young sales assistant/stripper in a world that has changed so drastically that sex is used to sell anything and everything. Cassie purchases a dress that has incorporated intelligence and has the capabilities to gather data and codes, unbeknownst to Cassie. She chose the dress to go clubbing in after purchasing it which leads to a domino effect of events that lead to Cassie being sentenced to Slavery after being named as a terrorist.
I did like the writing but I just didn't feel any connection to any of the characters. I will try other books by this author but for me it just didn't work the way I had hoped.
