Surprised I enjoyed this one given that I disliked the first one so much.
I enjoyed the marriage of convenience where the two had really properly outlined what they wanted out of the marriage.
I liked that he truly trusted her with things and they had a real respect for each other.
There was also the whole subplot with all the accidents that were obviously someone framing her but it was frustrating her wouldn’t believe her despite trusting her with bigger things? I’m surprised she forgave the girl because ngl I wouldn’t. I did things she was very compassionate overall.

Probably my least favourite read of Quinn’s by far. I think when she strays too far away from the romance the plot stops being believable.

A romance of the pratfall, bicker-fest variety. Not to my taste, but I can see the appeal for other readers...
