Sara Shepard

3.55 AVERAGE

mysterious tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

Unlike the last three of this arc, this one wasn't that boring, however Sara Shepard has to stop making her characters cry every other page as well as the whole hearing "high pitched giggle" thing.

I LOVE THIS WHOLE BOOK SERIES <3
(i read this series 2 years ago but I am rereading it cause why not)
i 100% recommend to everyone to read just because it is a fun read
I can't wait to start the show after I finish and compare the 2

The beginning was a little slow, but then it picked up. I am HOOKED. I have to know what happens next.

SpoilerEven though the boat blew up,
this one still kind of made me want to go on another cruise lol. Also, re Emily:
SpoilerI find it pretty hard to believe that she is constantly finding hot girls who want to kiss her, wherever she goes.

Sooo Good. Sara Shepard can't write fast enough! I want more, more, MORE!

One thing Emily Fields is always going to do is date the absolute worst person possible and consider running away with them. I don't even have any excuses for her anymore; girl is just making dumb moves.
I sort of liked the change of setting for this one, though the cruise field trip was a ridiculous setup to get all the liars to feel scared and paranoid on a boat. I like that they're considering actually telling the truth now that things have gotten so out of hand.
Hanna and Spencer really carried this one for me; I continue to like them and honestly any character more than Aria.
The biggest reason this one got four starts was for expanding Naomi's character and for the reveal that the girls didn't kill Tabitha.

I don't know, this one didn't hold my attention nearly as much as the other ones have.

Nothing happens... NOTHING! Except the final five pages where SURPRISE! the girls are full victims and never killed anyone... how can there be this many more books left? Hasn't this horse been beaten to death enough times already? Do we need a horse head in the bed to finish this once and for all?
