The magic system is l cool—it builds on the character lore in fun way, that I’m sure will be revealed in later books. I’ll admit, the multiple POVs threw me off a bit at first (there are a lot of them), but once I got into the rhythm, it really worked. Seeing the different storylines slowly weave together was such a payoff.

The way everything’s connected makes it feel like this huge, living world, and now I’m invested in where it’s all heading next. Definitely a strong start to the trilogy
