A short book that's just short enough to not overstay its welcome. The quick switching between who the book wants you to empathize with is interesting, but I can definitely see it getting old after a while.

While not giving its characters much room to grow with its brisk pace, it still explores each person deeply enough to not leave much gaps. This book is a worthy, solid mystery, with just a bit of social commentary, though don't expect anything particularly moving, unique or exciting from that part of it.
