this book has been on my tbr for so long, and i wish id read it sooner. what a beautifully accurate representation of mental health - my anxiety ridden ass appreciated that.
sadie is a figure skater with shitty parents and too much responsibility. rhys is the golden boy of hockey at waterfell university but after his accident last semester, the panic attacks are getting harder to recover from. they meet each other at the wrong time, but rhys wont let sadie get away that easily.
i loved rhys' golden retriever energy and sadie gave all the black cat vibes. two scared people doing the best they can with what the world has dealt them.
i cannot recommend this book enough. i am genuinely so excited for the next book in the series!

This book was just fantastic. The characters were so raw and real, and you felt everything they were going through. I smiled, I raged, I swooned, and I teared up. Be prepared for the full range of emotions with this one.
