Stories were wild, wild animals and went off in directions you couldn't expect.

Herzzerreißend. Hat mich tief bewegt und am Ende musste ich ein Tränchen wegdrücken.

Ein sehr gutes Buch über Trauer und Verlust.

Read this in a few hours, and it was amazing. Cried my eyes out, but such an important story.

I've wanted to read this for a while but it got put on the back burner when my mother became ill and died as I was aware of the subject matter. I found parts of it quite difficult but it does capture the anger and helplessness felt by the children of cancer sufferers and unlike many books aimed at younger audiences it wasn't always clear how the story was going to progress

Wow. Patrick Ness has done it again. This book was actually very good. The characters in it are portrayed well and the monster was actually a mix of everything. I was surprised by the ending. And I think this book would be great for youngsters who are about to or have already lost someone.
