I feel like this entry into the series was much more serious than the others. It also contained some great character development. I feel the reader is finally able to see more of a shift in Tachibana and Kondo's relationship, as well as understand what is really ailing these characters.

Cannot wait to read the conclusion to the series when it comes out later this month!

I liked this volume more than the previous because the “romance” was slightly placed on the back burner and Akira’s character development and supporting characters were explored more. It felt light hearted but still engaging, good easy manga to read.

True love or one-sided love... there is a bit of both in this story as feelings bloom for everyone as they come into the Winter Break! What WILL happen in the last volume *squeels* I must know soon... gets it to read soon!

The holidays approach as Tachibana continues to pine for her boss, and largely reject the typical high school life she feels she lost when she was injured during a track competition. Her boss, Kondo, realizes he is not immune to Tachibana’s unrelenting attention.

A much more mature & realistic plot, with some deeper thoughts at play. This volume sees the perspective of several people from various stages of life as they play out. Crushes, rebellion, mid life realizations, renewed goals, young heartbreak, and more. Slow paced, slice of life.

Content Notes: implied nudity, physical trauma (a sports injury)
