This book is a retelling of pride and prejudice. I personally don’t like retellings, but the focus was fine.

Is it as good as the original? No, of course not. But I had a fun time reading it, especially since I recently read P&P and therefore spotted many allusions to it. I had to laugh out loud at some points in the story, for example because of the "Did you walk here?" dialogue.

It felt like the book was leading up to this big climax that never happened. The ending was quite rushed and not flushed out. Additionally, there were a lot of characters that were hard to keep track of. Not the best book ever, but a quick and cute read.

I liked this more than I thought I would. It offers a different perspective, giving seemingly surface level d list celebrities more depth, personality, goals, feelings, etc. the ending was really rushed in my opinion though
