Δεν πίστευα ποτέ ότι μια απο τις αγαπημένες μου ταινίες ήταν εμπνευσμένη απο ένα τόσο μικρό και χαριτομένο παιδικό βιβλίο. Οι εικόνες είναι τόσο ζεστές που μου θυμίζουν τα παιδικά μου χρόνια όταν έβλεπα τη ταινία με τη μητέρα κάθε φθνινόπωρο. Νοσταλγία.

For some reason, I'd always kind of dismissed this book as one of those insanely overrated popular books. Finally, I decided to test that assumption and read the book as an adult, and I'm glad I did. Was I ever wrong! This is a charming classic, certain to charm adults as well as engage the imaginative, worldy child. We know what happens when you ass u me...Now to check out other Madeline books.

It's a good book that's just the right length to use for story time. It keeps them entertained and can open up a great discussion. Whether they ask you what an appendix is or ask why the rest of the girls started crying, they are bound to start talking about the book.
