I really loved the portrayal of a bi main character & the journey of being unlabeled. Art style wasn’t for me but great romance rec for teens!

Very cute and sweet.  I do wish I could have seen Lindsay get her butt kicked and the ending felt abrupt, but I still really liked it.

Was it perfect? No.
Did I love it anyway? Yes.
Someone needed to punch Lindsay in the face and it just so happened to be Alix.
I really liked that the whole thing was gray scale except for that one shade of blue. Gave your eye a focus on the page without overpowering the dialogue
emotional funny inspiring sad

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read a digital copy of this book in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.

This is a wonderful story about a female high school hockey player who has anger management issues. She seeks help from a boy in drama club who seems to be able to keep cool despite bullying from other classmen. They end up hitting it off and romance ensues. There was a lot to love about this story but I have an extreme dislike for the coach and the captain of the hockey team. The captain's issues were somewhat addressed, but the coach's wasn't. That really didn't sit well with me. Other than that I really enjoyed the story and highly recommend it.

Adorable. FEH is a national treasure.

Though really this is 4.5 bc I would have loved it to be a little longer.

Plot and Content- 4 stars

Art- 3 stars (I would've liked it to be more colorful, but I did think that the black and blue color scheme was kind of cool)

Wide appealing YA graphic novel. One thing that kept tripping me up was the characters looked alike so sometimes it was hard for my brain to keep them separate. Definitely a me-issue and I can see teens liking this a lot.
