loved this! was so cute and charming but with some pretty important complexity weaved throughout.

my main criticism is that it felt like it ended really abruptly
— i think the ending could have been wrapped up a bit better. i also think alix's anger issues weren't fully addressed, so it maybe needed some more depth around that particular storyline.

This is the second Faith Erin Hicks graphic novel that I’ve read and I loved it! Definitely comparable in vibe to Heartstopper - in that it deals lightly with lots of tough subjects.

I kind of want a second volume!

Fun romance between a girl obsessed with hockey and her drama-loving friend/boyfriend. I liked the complexity that Hicks brought to this story with the friendships and the bullying drama. I kind of wish that we could have gotten more of the aftermath of the final decisions with the team. And some panels of "Little Shop of Horrors" :D.
Hopefully we will get more of this 'verse.
