4.5/5 stars rounded up!
I really enjoyed this graphic novel. Alix and Ezra's friendship then relationship was really lovely and heartwarming. The stereotype reversal of who the hockey player and who the drama lover was really refreshing. I loved the art style and the colour palette, and that it was set in BC! This was a great read

Cute graphic novel, focusing on the themes of bullying, identity and standing up for yourself. A hockey girl asks a drama boy for help, to learn how to cope with her conger. Along the way they fall in love and each overcome fears and hesitations as their relationship blossoms. The use of blue as the main color was interesting, kind of having a feeling of calm as you read the story.

I will consume anything Faith Erin Hicks makes. This was a super quick read I did in about an hour. Loved it. Hicks does such a good job creating multi-dimensional characters. Highly recommend.
