I was worried how I would go after the heresy when the lrimarchs are all mostly not the focus, but, this book has really helped settle that with just how captivated I was by the conscripts story line.

Like the last, quick paced but entirely captivating I continue to be amazed at how one battle is holding so much interest eithout getting tedious or boring.

Altho very different to the first book in the siege of terra series, once you get into the rhythm of things it grips you tight and keeps its foot on the pedal onto the very end
