“But after a while, searching for the answers felt like grasping around in the dark. At some point, you have to choose to live in the light.”

This book was okay. Not great, not bad, just okay. It had an interesting story that kept me engaged. I didn't think the mystery was perfect, some aspects were a little predictable, but for the most part it managed to keep me wondering what happened. I did feel slightly disappointed by the reveal, I was hoping for something a bit wilder. A lot of the characters were either annoying, unlikable, or just plain forgettable. I also think that too many people were introduced too fast, and then not mentioned for awhile, just to be brought up later in the story. It made it pretty difficult to keep track of who was who. This was probably one of the better YA thrillers that I've read.
