A little too silly for my taste.  Dialog clunky.

Did not enjoy the interactions between Rosemary and Athena. Romances also felt unconvincing, though thankfully not the focus of the story. Undecided yet whether to continue reading the series.

Light and fun story about a mom and daughter duo that move to a magical town. There a little mystery too but overall it’s a cosy read and delightful.

It does what it says on the tin really. It’s a cosy book that is very Gilmore girls but with magic. It’s not great, it’s not the worst book I’ve ever read either. I didn’t get the impression it was trying to be deep or thought provoking. It’s just an easy, chill read with a little bit of magic and a lot of tea.
