I really enjoyed this book! I loved the honesty and the willingness to admit wrongs and humiliation.

I have a physical copy of this book but I decided to listen via audio which I recommend since it's narrated by Bourdain himself.

Listening to this story, made his death even more tragic.

Zoomed through this one. Bourdain was a great storyteller and I enjoyed getting to hear the stories in his own voice through the audiobook.

No one like Bourdain except an entire industry that continues on in his honor.

Still can't believe he's gone.

Solid memoir! Bourdain’s writing style is so grounded and sarcastic that I found it super appealing to listen to him. Definitely jumped a little all over the place, but had a lot of really solid stories and tales

Hearing Anthony Bourdain say this years after he took his own life is heartbreaking:

"I'll be right here. Until they drag me off the line. I'm not going anywhere. I hope. It's been an adventure. We took some casualties over the years. Things got broken. Things got lost. But I wouldn't have missed it for the world."
