After her ex trashed her reputation, Daisy goes on break to Sweden. She never expected to be run off the road by a moose. Eli, the flirty ski instructor, immediately takes to her and defends her. River, the doctor, is right behind him. Cole, park ranger, takes personal offense to her almost hitting a moose and is way more reserved having been burned in the past.

Daisy is so sweet. I feel so bad her privacy was violated like that. Also feel bad for Cole and his past. LOVE their story so much!

4.8 stars.
I loved this.
It was sexy and fun and yet this author insists on making my heart hurt with the horrendous pain she puts her characters in.

I’m just really loving her writing style.
All three books I’ve read sort of follow the same ebbs and flows, so I sort of know When things will sort of explode. But still I’m not bored or upset by it. Each book and each character has their own unique story and hardship, it makes everything new again.

I loved these characters.
I loved how they grew together and helped each other along the way.
The plot was fun and also heartbreaking at the same time. Daisy’s ex is a piece of shit and everyone around her sucked ass for the way they treated her.
I love that they got a little justice at the end.

I just really enjoyed reading this.
I’ve fallen in love with this author’s style and I will forever be checking back for new releases now that I’m zipping through all of the back log.

So fucking good.
So damn glad I found this author on TikTok. My algorithm is killing it.

DID NOT FINISH: 18%

Wow. I was not at all impressed with this book. I get that it's a romantic book and that there's a certain level of disbelief required, but this book made it really hard. It just wasn't realistic. At all.
Some of my issues:
- The guys don't have Swedish names, despite being Swedish.
- The guys won't take Daisy into town because then they'll be stuck there for a few weeks due to the snow, but are fine with her, a stranger, being up at their place potentially for a few weeks?
- Her car crashes off road and they casually just tow it with no issues
- The two Swedes speak like native English speakers, saying things I'm fairly sure Swedes wouldn't just say, like "babe" and "honey".
- Their truck pulls up to their cabin, TOWING A VEHICLE IN THE SNOW, doesn't get stuck and they have no issues, and then then Daisy gets out of the car, she's knee deep in snow? That means the car is as well, and it sure as fuck would have had issues.
- She trips on snow because it's so deep? This is a little less unlikely, but stick vaguely unlikely. Snow isn't really a big tripping substance, if that makes sense? Like it just doesn't have a good composition for tripping and falling. I could get getting stuck, but that isn't what happened.
- She goes to help shovel, but the shovel is so big and she is so small that she struggles to lift it? Really?

There are just so many things like that where it's like, I just can't suspend my disbelief. It's too unbelievable.

Furthermore, I wasn't particularly impressed with the writing. It just moved very quickly, the dialogue didn't seem very natural, etc.

Overall, I wasn't impressed, enough to DNF this one.

I have enjoyed everything I’ve read by Lily Gold and this book was no exception! I love the Rom-Com RH formula.I started with Faking with Benefits and now have read everything Lily Gold has on KU!

I really liked Daisy and felt that though the subject matter was heavy it was handled well. Riven, Cole and Eli were each great but I definitely found I had a soft spot for Cole. Why do I always love the grumpy one??

I would definitely recommend this book but with some trigger warnings as the subject matter could be difficult for some.
relaxing medium-paced
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Complicated

Such a cozy and steamy read! Plus I’m always a sucker for found family types

decent little reverse harem, but still not gay enough

HAHA i dont even know how to review this...i was entertained and the smut was good.
the characters and the story was lacking a little for me.
kinda felt like i was reading a less taboo credence in a weird way

Well… I just wish there had been more sweet moments to balance out the ugly ones.

If the goal was to create the most unlikable character ever, they definitely nailed it with Cole. He wasn’t just grumpy—he was outright mean, and it felt intentional.

The characters’ backstories weren’t enjoyable to read. The FMC’s experiences with sexual harassment and stalking were heavy and uncomfortable, especially for a book that isn’t a dark romance. Why didn’t she just block her creepy ex? And the guys’ ex? She was so over-the-top evil it was almost laughable.

Here’s the rundown: she broke up with Eli while still dating Cole and Riven—awkward, since they were all still living together. Then, she framed Eli for drug possession, sending him to prison for two years. After breaking up with Cole, she gave Riven an ultimatum to marry her, all while pregnant. She claimed the baby was Cole’s, and he embraced fatherhood, only for some random man to show up later claiming to be the real father—and he was! So, while with Cole and Riven, she cheated, lied about the baby, and then took the child away. And for Riven? Her accomplice in framing Eli was Riven’s own father, who hated the group’s polyamorous relationship.

The worst part? Cole and Riven didn’t even believe Eli when he insisted he was innocent. They’d been best friends since childhood, and they didn’t give him the benefit of the doubt. That betrayal really soured the story for me.
