absolutely LOOVVEDDDD!!!
it was a cute little story and i am learning that i love reverse harem! unfortunately there was an implied pregnancy in the epilogue, which i am so fucking sick of. child free epilogue just once, someone, i’m begging at this point.
but either way i loved it.
(all five of these stars are for Eli, by the way. the rest of them were great but Eli is the love of my life

- the writing felt like it could have used another pass with an editor, phrases or word choices were odd, and while the sex scenes were steamy, the positioning was hard to picture and she is also talking while having a mouthful?
- the initial ‘not knowing’ what Daisy is running from: that was a choice. overall this was okay for me, but it was annoying because it felt like we didn't know if she was trustworthy either, or simply overreacting?
- my first why choose Romance - it was hot, fluffy, decent
- structurally, I liked how each character had baggage, and each had a turn to connect with Daisy, each had vulnerabilities with her and some start of resolution or progress on their history and baggage - we / I saw how Daisy would work with each person
- the third act drama was a bit overblown, but was well resolved
- One reviewer complained how “heavy” the book felt - I see those themes but I did not feel like it's tone was too much that way
- I do agree that the overall plot was a bit dramatic / over the top
- I don't know how often the internal conflict amongst the male characters is, but I did love knowing how they never fought / griped amongst each other for her
- Riven knew that Daisy had not been honest with her name and her history, so his freak out felt like too much?
- I agree that there were too many mentions of her tiny-ness, and agree that some conflict/resolution between Eli and the betrayals of the past should have happened

I actually really liked this! I thought it would be a less-heavy, hornier Credence but it wasn't!
There's a plot. The FMC makes decisions that make sense. The MMCs are tolerable. I actually love Eli and I NEVER like golden retriever energy type men. Quick read. I'll have to check out more from this author. Spelling error on a page where the character is "Coal" instead of "Cole".

This was good! I don’t think I liked it nearly as much as the other two Lily Good books I’ve read but it definitely was still good!

3.5 stars rounded… down I suppose. It’s not unlike any of her other novels, just new names and a new setting.
