Lowstakes read. The only thing I found annoying and then funny was the names; Riven translates directly to "Scratched" and Cole with a Swedish tang either becomes "Kale" or "Coal" when translated back. It made it obvious that the author just threw a dart over the northern countries and picked one at random.
Still a fun read though. The banter was bantering, the scenes were spicy and I do like a why-choose reverse harem (even though I chose Eli very quickly in)

Vorab möchte ich sagen, dass ich das Buchcover sehr gelungen finde und ich das Buch in der Buchhandlung mit Sicherheit in die Hand genommen hätte. Das Cover ist dennoch viel niedlicher als die Geschichte, die sich in den Seiten versteckt. Anfangs war ich skeptisch, ob der Trope „why choose romance“ meinen Geschmack treffen wird. Entgegen meiner Skepsis muss ich sagen, dass ich unglaublich froh bin, dieses Buch gelesen zu haben und dass ich die Folgebände auf alle Fälle lesen werde!
Am Anfang habe ich ein wenig gebraucht, um in das Buch reinzukommen, was eventuell aber auch an den klimatischen Bedingungen im Buch und denen an meinem Lese Ort zusammenhängt (Schweden, Minustemperaturen und Schneesturm versus Bayern, endlich Sommer und Sonne pur)
Die Charaktere sind super sympathisch geschrieben und die Protagonistin ist mir mit Ihrer direkten Art sehr schnell ans Herz gewachsen. Die drei Protagonisten sind ein Traum und jede*r Leser*in findet in einem der Drei Ihren Mister Right. Riven der attraktive Arzt der unglaublich sicher und strukturiert in seiner Lebensweise ist und erstmal etwas unscheinbar und ruhig wirkt. Eli der zuckersüße Skilehrer, der so unglaublich herzlich und witzig im Umgang mit Daisy ist und last but not least Cole der perfekte Grumpy Ranger, der sich um die Wildtiere in Schweden sorgt. Alle drei Männer haben mich auf Ihre eigene Art und Weise in den Bann gezogen und mich beim Lesen im Zug auch einmal das Buch verschämt zuklappen lassen.
Der Schreibstil hat mir sehr gut gefallen und das Buch lässt sich sehr leicht lesen. Die Story ist nicht unbedingt neu und auch der Plot ist ab einem gewissen Zeitpunkt etwas vorhersehbar, das hat dem Buch aber nichts abgetan, denn es hat beim Lesen einfach unglaublich Spaß gemacht.
Der Spice ist „Holla die Waldfee“ sehr präsent und hat mich häufig erröten lassen. Hin und wieder hätte es für mich nicht so detailreich sein müssen, dass ist aber auch wirklich reine Geschmackssache.
Ich kann das Buch jedem empfehlen, der sich auf eine andere Art von Romance und Spice einlassen möchte und offen ist, sich gleich von drei Männern den Kopf verdrehen zu lassen.

Three Swediah Mountain Men is a reverse harem romance book. This one is one of my favorite by Lily Gold so far. It is filled with heart-warming moments ans I just couldn't get enough of it.
The book follows Daisy as she finds herself in a company of three Swedish men. There are a lot of spicy sceens and we get so many tropes, my favorite one being forced proximity.
To put it simply, if you have read other books by Lily Gold you need to read this one as well.

Zany story but funny and sweet. I’ve read a fair amount of why-choose reverse harems and this one does one of the best jobs of making each man a fully fleshed out person. In kind, the relationship and chemistry with the FMC is also different with each guy. The banter is funny. One of my few criticisms is that it gets a little repetitive and annoying how often it’s mentioned how small and delicate she is. With all the guys being 6’+ and her being 5’ barely, the mechanics of kissing, let alone poly sex seem unnecessarily complicated. And I can’t shove that away when we’re reminded how tiny and itty bitty she is all the damn time.
That said, it is one of the few KindleUnlimited books I’ve gone back and reread because it’s such a good time.

Meh. Wasn’t as good as Nanny for the Neighbors, but the scenes were nice. The characters are always the same.

I found Daisy's character so sweet and realistic. I loved her little comebacks to the guys. Just like her other books, while it does have spice throughout the book, the plot of the story is there. The story really allows you to see these characters and their struggles and how they move towards healing from those struggles. I think these books were a great introduction to RH for someone like me who does need the emotional/romance/plot to be there for the spice to be good. Would definitely recommend as a nice light read.
