The only thing that would have made this perfect is if there was some series altering drama. It was a really great romance and as always it was a quick, easy read and the characters still, after all the characters there has been, felt fresh, new, different and completely individual.

I loved seeing Angie struggle with her identity and that she felt everyone just saw her as the pregnant lady and not anything else. I loved the clone species and seeing them struggle with identity. I loved seeing Thrand (the brother) especially, because not only was he struggling to rid himself of the beliefs that he would never be his own person and all clones were the same, but he then struggles with the fact his brother wants more than just him and they won’t always be around each other anymore. It was actually really sad every time he struggled to explain why he kept competing and how he was struggling.

There were a lot of new (or just featured more now) faces that I’m super interested in, and I’m eager to see where the series is going to end up.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a good job.

So refreshing after reading Willa’s book. This is the kind of heroine I like. Well frankly I like all of them except Brooke and Willa, but if there’s a ranking Willa gets worst for reasons I think I put in the review for her review.

I really enjoyed this return to “Ice Home”

I (obviously) love Ruby Dixon and this series if I’ve gotten this far. I wasn’t sure how this baby plot was going to play out but I’m very satisfied. However I always get annoyed with the miscommunication trope in books like this. You can’t tell a guy “I never want to see you again” then in the next breath wonder why he’s a longing you. He’s doing exactly what you’ve asked!! A very small gripe, but a gripe none the less.

I am a young mother and I am very happy how Ruby decided to treat Angie and how she sees everything, being pregnant and all.
And Vordis is such an incredible guy ! When you imagine everything he has been through, he is pretty stable. But when you compare him to Ashtar or Gren, he is just amazing ! Thoughtful and sensible and very dependable.
One of the best of the series. ❤️

this was cute and cozy like all ruby’s ice planet books are, but nothing overly memorable! i was kind of hoping for a throuple situation with angie, thrand, and vordis. missed opportunity for a little trip to not-hothian paris, but alas.

(and if there was ever going to be a plausible scenario for a threeway resonance, it would be with two clones! c’mon! *shakes fist and ignores ethical and biological considerations of a throuple with two genetically identical dudes*)
adventurous emotional lighthearted fast-paced

A good and enjoyable read!
