This book is amazingly amusing. The humors. The sarcasms. All of them. Jace Herondale is definitely my favorite, well I'm sure he is your favorite too. There is major different between the book and the movie, and though book is better...... Cassandra Clare knows how to develop a story and character from the beginning and I'm sure the story will thrive in the next...next book. Cannot wait to read City of Ashes.

I recently reread this book, and wow 2014 Jack had a bad taste in books. This is complete trash. None of the characters sans Simon, are likable, and every one of them is a dick to Clary right of the bad for no reason. The plot doesn’t really ever kickoff—there’s just brief plot points in between drama and incest (which is kinda just glossed over). The big twist isn’t really a twist and there’s no reason to hide it at all. The writing is also lackluster at best. Overall, these books don’t have to be over 500 pages. Seriously.

These style books have a part of my soul in them. Something in my imagination clings to fiction like nothing else ever has. Something so unreal that it awakens your mind in ways you didn’t know it could. I definitely don’t like the ending though. Sorry
