Doesn't seem to have a point to it and the narrative just wanders in circles. No character stands out as being particularly enjoyable and I didn't enjoy reading the book.

The Bloater slapped. it looks at the politics of relationships like a Jane Austen novel, except the leading lady is already married and the relationships are affairs. acerbic, poignant, and mostly timeless.
