I am not sure how to feel. Did I like it? Yes. I still feel like it was lacking a bit of development and I think the ending felt very rushed/ forced/ underdeveloped. However, I have heard the sequel is much better so I am hoping to read that!

I enjoyed however…
I did enjoy this book HOWEVER… it took me forever to finish. It just took a bit to long to get going.

This book is your boss/employee romance with a “Dreamland” 🏰 (or Disneyland) twist to it.
Rowan, the youngest grandson of the Dreamland creator, has to prove himself as the new Dreamland director after his grandfather’s death. Zarah, a Dreamland employee, had dreams & goals until they were crushed. Their story is cute but a little predictable.
I wish there was a little more character development, but the story line helps make up for it. Overall this was a fun quick read. A nice palette cleanser.

a lot of thoughts on this one as a disney world employee of 3 years… both characters were really unlikeable for me- she was super immature all the way through and he was robotically unemotional in an unbelievable way (until he randomly understood human needs). I’ll be coming back to finish the series later in the year because I love the concept but overall a 1.82 rounded up to ⭐️⭐️
