Very cute. A little silly but a nice modern family comedy. I can totally see this as a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, assuming that Hallmark is friendly toward gay relationships.
Not my usual genre...however, so far...witty! Not my genre for a reason...too much angst.

3.5 stars. Not my favorite Lipman so far, but still very enjoyable! As always, she creates a cast of slightly outrageous but very likable characters, and that's why I'm working my way through everything by Lipman. Her characters are wonderful!
I wasn't invested in this story, okay but not too exciting. The father/daughter bonding was nice I suppose, but not much there.
What a charming, delightful book. I kept waiting for some major conflict to arise and spoil everything but I it stayed charming and delightful right up to the end.
