I seemed to take forever to read this book, and it seemed slow in some ways. That said. I have a strong desire to immediately re-read this. I kind of loved it. I love Kit and Dillon, they're are super goofy and weird and yet the sex is hot.

This is the second Stein book I've read and it worked much better for me than [b:Taken|23433432|Taken (Under the Skin, #3)|Charlotte Stein|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1424141887s/23433432.jpg|42998953]. Will keep reading. She can also be a go to writer when I can't stand 3rd person any more and I need to read something in 1st POV. Which seems to be happening more and more.

Addicted was funny, steamy and very emotional. Loved this book and look forward checking out others from this author.

Really liked this, but I think if you didn't like the heroine's internal monologue it could be problematic.

Ending was very rushed. I wanted to know more about Dillon after we learned about his past.

I thought this was a fun read, I did not expect the hero to be as the hero was in terms of his personality, and that was really cool. There was a really strong connection between the characters, and I really enjoyed their flaws and how they helped each other to their HEA. The heroines friend was a total cow, glad she didn’t get much time.

This book starts with an overused trope - the romance reader/writer that loves steamy words on the page but doesn't know how to make those dreams come to life until Fantasy Guy comes along. Crazy hot sex is had, The End.

The first half of Addicted follows this story, especially where the hot sex is concerned. I had no idea why a reviewer I trust recommends it... but then we get to the second half. Emotional issues come to the fore and the couple has to do honest, emotional work to break bad cycles and get to an HEA. It's an interesting flip, and I respect Stein for doing something I haven't seen the likes of before.

While the writing chops are there I'm not a fan of books where all the sex comes in the first 50%, so a middling three stars it is. I am interested in trying out more books from Stein, though, to see what else she can do.

I quit at 50%. I couldn't find the hero hot or even likeable and so chose not to finish.

This book was ok. I think it would have been a lot better if we got Dillon's POV too. And if there was a lot more voiced conversation rather than inner thoughts. It kind of drove me nuts at one point and I was skimming through her thoughts to actual conversations.

On a side note, is it a British thing using apostrophes instead of quotes? This is the second book by a British author I've seen this and it's driving me nuts.
