This book is the rare case of being exactly what it sets up to be: a narrative of the events of the Trump presidency from 2017-2021, pieced together from reporting done in real-time and also 100s of interviews done for this book. The writing style is clear and concise. None of the information was particularly new to me, but this is an excellent book that brings everything together without too much side commentary on the part of the authors. As a chronicle of a single presidential term, it serves the function well as a recap of all the various things that really did somehow happen in just four years.
