This series is such a cosy vibe and I actually preferred the second book!
I do get a bit lost with each character and their relationship to each other but since I binged 50% of this it was much easier to remember.
The scenarios in this one were so sad and I find it quite emotional but heartwarming.

I think some of the magic was lost in translation. But this concept was really sweet, and enjoyable. I am not normally a magical realism fan (as much as I try) but this was one of the better ones.

Tales from the Café follows the beloved characters from Before the Coffee Gets Cold and introduces a new cast of characters who quickly captured my heart. Tales from the Café focuses on grief, finding joy after sorrow, and healing from loss.
I highly recommend this series if you want a cozy, coffee-filled, heartwarming read.
Rating: PG
Trigger Warnings: suicide ideation, depression, pregnancy loss, death, grief
