I received an advanced reader copy of this book from publishers Henry Holt via a June 2023 Goodreads giveaway. Amazing Grace Adams is more than simply amazing. She's full of emotion, love, confusion, and humanity. What Fran Littlewood has done in this, her debut novel, is to slowly unravel what has brought Grace, her husband, and her teenage daughter to where they are now. This is a drama with a flair of mystery. It begins with a Grace who is simply fed up and ends with showing us 16 years of Grace's life and the trials and tragedy that brought the family from happiness to misery and back again to clarity. It shows us the breakdown of relationships when communication and honesty end and how they are reborn when those things are restored. Bravo to Littlewood for this work. It is amazing.

I like that the frenetic pace of the book mirrors the main characters unraveling.
