They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but you should for this book. The cover is beautiful and is the first thing that drew me to the book. The story lives up to the cover. It is wonderful. I was not anticipating all of the plot twists that the book would have. But those plot twists made the book. The character development is great. I really found myself really rooting for the main character. I have not read this author before, but after this book I am will be looking to see what else she has written. It was a great read!

This one was a bit predictable. It was very Hallmark movie-esque. I found myself continuing to read just to see how it ended. It was ok, not amazing.

Nothing Less than Magic was my first Stacy Finz book. I went into this blind and am so glad that I did. The book starts with Chelsea meeting her ex husband Austin for what she thinks will be him wanting to work things out. After an accident Chelsea decides to spend some time at their cabin in Ghost California. I loved her time in Ghost. It was a time for her to recuperate, repair a relationship with her sister and make friends with the local women, and maybe even fall in love with someone new. Then "nothing less than magic" happens. I did not see this coming and don't want to spoil it for anyone else.

This book was amazing. I loved the setting, the meaning of the book and how the story was told.

Thank you NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for an ARC of Nothing Less than Magic by Stacy Finz for an honest review.

Nothing Less than Magic is a fun and sweet read! It has that small town charm, vivid descriptions of the beautiful settings, a touch of magic and a sweet and heartwarming romance! I really enjoyed Chelsea! She is likable, real and I really liked the growth she made throughout the story! I did find the book to be very predictable and usually that would bother me but with this book it was the complete opposite and that's because it didn't take away from the experience. I still enjoyed every moment! Overall it was a fun, easy, and entertaining story! Thank you Bibliolifestyle, Stacy Finz and Kensington Books for sharing this book with me!

It took me a while to slog through this book. Although a decent story, I just couldn't keep reading.

Thanks Kensington and Between the Chapters for the gifted ARC book.

Well, I didn’t see that one coming…
I don’t always read the synopsis before starting a book. In the case of NOTHING LESS THAN MAGIC, I did and it turned out to be nothing like I expected. This magical realism romance had a huge twist that I did not see coming. I loved the autumn small town setting. The characters were compelling. The writing made me feel like I was there. The twist made the book overall very similar to another book I read and absolutely loved a couple years ago. I think because the other book had blown me away, this one didn’t quite hit with the same punch. I would probably feel differently if this had been the first time I encountered this sort of plot. Nonetheless, this was a great read that I’d recommend. It’s billed as “perfect for… Hallmark movie lovers seeking cozy autumn vibes.” That description fits perfectly.

The second half of the book was kind of dull and the ending felt like a last minute wrap up

This book will stay with me a LONG time. I can't tell you anything without giving away plot points, but read this book. I was surprised at the plot twist that I did NOT see coming.
