The Wrong Game

3.71 AVERAGE

The sun was shining, but the air was brisk. The energy in the stadium was building, waiting for the players to take the field. She held a beer in one hand and a hot dog in the other. Her game face was on and she was ready to cheer her team to a victory. That is unless the man next to her kept distracting her.

The Wrong Game follows Gemma and Zach, both dealing with some pasts that have hurt them, Gemma’s heartbreak being more recent. When she decides to invite a different man to every home football game with her season tickets… with the intent to move forward and have a little fun… she has no clue what’s actually coming.

This book had me at football and now I need more sports romances in my life. That aspect of this story really captivated me and I also loved watching Zach and Gemma’s relationship spark. This book wasn’t all perfection though. I wasn’t a big fan of how the best friend handled some things and I wasn’t a fan of how Zach started out with his pursuing of Gemma, but still a solid read for me… especially past the halfway point.

If you’re a sports romance fan… check this one out!

i think it’s just time to admit that these romance books are not for me?! i vibe for the first like half but then once then the sex scenes come and i’m over. i guess i like the flirting lolol

but it was the orgasm right as they scored a touchdown and the line “i ate her p*ssy like it was a four-course meal this time” that icked me out

This was so good. I did think it dragged a bit and honestly the third act conflict/break up pissed me off but I can understand from Gemma’s pov why she was upset but it still made me mad. But overall this book was good and I can’t wait to read more kandi Steiner
