It was easy to fall in love. It was harder to climb out of it.

This was one of those romance stories you read and remember how wonderful it is to witness true love blossom. 4.5 stars for this wonderful book.

I decided that my soft heart wanted a bit of romance before I went to bed. This book came highly recommended and I already knew the Kandi Steiner was a talented writer. I swear the whole time I read this I had a huge smile on my face.

Some say you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find one that turns out to be a prince. For me, sometimes I have to read mediocre romance books before I get to read amazing ones like this. The Wrong Game is everything right in the romance genre. The perfect blend of comedy, drama, and romance to keep my fingers turning the page.

Gemma’s life makes sense with her lists. The control she gets by checking things off and staying organized is how she functions daily. A heartbreaking event teaches her that not everything is within her control. However, nearly a year later her best friend gives her an idea. This plan allows Gemma to step out of her perfectly organized bubble, but still keep control. Attend every home Bears game with her season passes and bring along a date. No repeat dates allowed.

Fate has decided to take the reigns from Gemma and she meets Zach Bowen. A gorgeous man who knows what he wants- her. Zach is a dream man. Besides being handsome, he’s also sweet and makes it clear he’s persistent when he know’s what he wants.

This is a romance about two people who have been hurt. One is fearful and the other wants to make every single moment of life count regardless of the possibility of pain. I was in awe of watching two different people learn to love one another through thick and then. One of my favorite romances I’ve ever read.

We were in it together, no matter what was to come, and we would fight for the win. For each other. Until the last whistle blew.

I am going to keep this short and sweet. This book did nothing for me. Gemma drove me nuts and Zach was the ultimate sweetheart and deserved more than Gemma.

The only thing I didn’t like was Gemma (FMC)… I found her exasperating. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Zach is a perfect book boyfriend, Belle was an excellent side character and their story felt very real. Great spice too!!!
