After all the hype, I'm saddened to say I found this to be quite the boring read. It felt like I was just wading through each life to get to the inevitable, predictable ending. That's not to say there is anything technically wrong with the book, hence the 3 stars. But it didn't do anything for me. Even the more literary bits fell flat. 

Love Carey Mulligan narrating, though, I hope she does more of it.

it was fine but certainly didn’t live up to the rave reviews it’s been getting. the writing wasn’t anything spectacular and the middle was pretty boring. i liked the ending a lot though, even if it is a bit cheesy and cliche.

This book was well written and had an interesting premise. I had a hard time getting captivated by the main character and wish some of the later revelations happened earlier and were more thoroughly explored. I think this book would make a good movie!

This was my second book by the author. I have previously read notes on a nervous planet. I liked this book a lot better than that one. The story was very bingeable and made you reflect on things in your own life especially at the end. The overall message of the book seemed to be no matter how many regrets you have, how ever many should have could have, would have, you ultimately can't change anything in the end or if you could, would your life really be better? Probably not. You would just find some part of that life you are unhappy with as well. I think it was great that Nora returned back to her root life once she realized how much a difference she made to people in that life. Just goes to show that it's the little things that mean the most.
