This book masterfully builds on everything the previous set up. There are great battle scenes (though not quite as good as the last books epic battle of Mercury) and some deaths that genuinely made me said. However some plots from the previous book aren’t followed up on (The syndicate) and the death of one antagonist does feel a bit anti climatic. However that being said this is still an amazing read and I cannot wait for the next one.
