Look. I really liked the Love Hypothesis, hence why I pre-ordered the three novellas that this is apart of. But this was not good writing. Also I'm not sure if the Ali is aware but she is perpetuating ED triggers left and right- constantly focusing on how tiny the FMC is ("Liam's hands close around my waist, his fingers so long, they meet both on my back and above my belly button") like girl what? Either Liam is the salad fingers dude or you're a 10 yr old child? Then a few pages later she's gone several sentences about calorie content & body fat percentages. This book is also heavily peppered with "anti-cliche" and "girl boss energy".
