Another fun one from Ali Hazlewood! I prefer the amount of character development that happens in her full-length novels, but I won't turn down the opportunity to read these too. I am listening to these on audio, which is a newer experience for me, and seems to make the classic romance novel misunderstandings a bit annoying for me.

I can't wait until the ebook is out so I decided to listen to the audiobook z and since it's my first time, ai have to replay a few times to remember the scene. Nevertheless, I'm not surprised to find out HOW GOOD this book is. Enemies to lovers in one roof? The heat? THE SPICE? 10/10.  Will I still read the ebook once it's out? Absolutely.

Quick, fun read. Grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, forced proximity storyline. So many mentions how huge the guy is 🙄

fjejsiamdnwgaofkwmana. Hi hello. The only way I can respond to this book is to resort to fandom speak. Because *the feels* and *the tension* and *the adorableness factor* can only be truly appreciated in *squee* form. It turns out that Ali Hazelwood could take anything, make it a STEM romance, and I would be left as a puddle on the ground, too happy to care about my new state of matter. Because people, romance novellas are rarely my faves. They move fast, and I'm left in the dust. BUT. What if there was a romance novella with not one but two demisexual protagonists? And what if it were a forced proximity roommates/enemies-to-lovers romance?? And what if it was built on these little domestic vignettes where we watch their feelings grow over time??? And what if they are both such adorable dumbasses that they both think their attraction and affection is unrequited???? Wow, I'm a bit mentally out of breath from all those question marks.

Guys. People. Humans. This audio novella is SO funny and sweet in Ali Hazelwood™ fashion. The narration is 10/10. The scenarios are well-framed and pack serious oomph, including but not limited to a Bachelor-watching session, a "let's use our body heat to retain warmth" moment, and banter around who is or is not stealing someone's coffee creamer even though they don't drink coffee. And we get TWO MORE of these in the coming months. Be still, my heart, etc.
