I wasn't in love with this book like i have been with previous books in the series. I didn't feel like it was as action packed or had as much character growth, and spent a lot of time with Rachel focusing on her Aura. It took me a while to get into it, but by about the middle I was finally hooked. I liked the addition of Pierce, and I think he'll be the main reason I read the eighth book in the series. Not that I don't love the Hollows, but I get burnt out on it easily. I felt like a lot of the events in the book were extremely underplayed and should have been a bigger deal than what they were. I felt like everything with Rachel and Marshall this book was extremely awkward. That being said, I still liked the story and will eventually continue to read the series.

Rachel is in trouble again. It will take everything in her purse to keep her out of trouble this time as she and Ivy continue to try and solve Kisten's murder and save Cinci from a Banshee.

It was good, But there are a lot of questions left open by the previouse books that are still unanswered. Guess that's why I keep reading them!:-)
