This book was a solid ending to the series. Book one is still definitely my favorite but this book tied everything up nicely.

I liked the story but also couldn’t wait for it to be over. A bit too predictable for my taste.

4.5 . Love it. The main reason why I love it so much may be because of Roth but well. The plot was a little bit obvious but I'm not complaining, I love to see how the relationship evolved, I just was happy for them and the ending was perfect.
We could see a more confident Layla and I like it. But I'm still wondering: Morris, who are you or what are you??

The conclusion to the Dark Elements series. I enjoyed getting to see Layla's story. Definitely worth the read. If you're into this series, definitely continue on with the Harbinger books. They could be read side by side but I'm glad I finished this story before the last Harbinger book. Would suggest this series first but they both are good standing alone.
