Barely got through the first in the series but saw the ratings on this book and pushed through hoping things would get better. I hated this MMC and by midpoint found myself wanting to smack the FMC. I can handle just about any plot point if the writing is good, there is depth to characters and their relationship. There was no redeeming this book. Viper is awful, Winter is vapid and the story just didn’t work. The plot holes and typos continued and there was very little I liked about the story.

This series is everything!

I loved this book. It turns seemingly heartless bastards into lovely men. The characters are great and we get to know them all a little better each book. It's like a big kinky family and I love it!

This books was something else. I loved every second of this book and basically read it in one sitting. Jamie Begley always amazes me with incredible books. My favourite thing about this books was Winter. She was an amazing female lead. Did she get annoying sometimes and have an outburst at the drop of a gate absolutely but, I still love her. I found her very strong minded and I loved how she grew with confidence with Viper.
Now Viper, I initially did not enjoy him. I did not like how he treated Winter but he made up for it. One thing I love about Viper was how he was open with his sexuality. He like arc and was open about it. I really admire that. This book has steamy scenes. Jamie Begley knows how to write sex scenes and she does them so well. Viper and winter definitely brought the steam to this book. I also enjoyed the mysteries of this book. It was really unexpected on who it was, and I never seen it coming.
Another book well done.

Great Read! Steam Hot! I really enjoyed this book, it contained everything you could hope for in the world of MC, they are quirky in the way that they operate and to say they have loose morals is an understatement. It might not be your cup of tea but keep an open mind. This story was amazing and Viper with all his flaws steps up to the plate and handles his business. He takes care of Winter without taking any crap, well trying not to anyway. Their story was heartbreaking and so trying, how to look past what other's see? Can you follow your heart knowing your peers will judge you? Happy Reading!

I love this authors writing style and semi slow burn, I just wish the women didn't give in so easily when the alpha male in the story disrespect or control the female MC. All the women so far just let the men get away with their rude actions, Women could at least put up a bigger fight not give In and make male MC work for their fucked up superiority attitude.

Women pathetically give in, first time male MC decides to seduce her with sex.

But the writing style is up notch minus the above.

Smut Hut Approved

So I really liked this book as well.
I again loved about 90%.
These dang women are WAY to lenient and huge pushovers. Seriously. It's ridiculous how freaking angry I get at the antics. I know it's irrational but I just can't help it. It's probably because if any man treated me or my daughters that way I would rip their balls off. ;)
I just can't hate the books tho. I love the stories, the writing, and the almost all the characters so much. I'm for real addicted. :)
Thanks for another great one Jamie!!

Winter Simmons had been dating or so she thought Loker James. It had never been more than chaste kisses on the cheek or dinner to events, but when she finds out that Loker James is President of the Last Riders and that he had been using her to find out about his brothers death. Winter feels like a woman scorned and although Loker tries to explain, Winter doesn't want any part of it.

When Winter is brutally attacked though Loker is by her side. Loker had not realized the soft spoken is more of a spitfire and he is intrigued. He is falling for her, but a bikers life is not for everyone and Loker is not sure she can handle it. As he tests her she finds herself thrown with desire for Loker and confusion on what it all means.

I liked this one but I also didn't care for a few things. I did give it 4 stars because the overall body of the story was good. I did feel like Loker was a jerk though and it took awhile to soften torn him and even then he still had an edge to him that was unnerving. Would check out more though in this series.

Okay...so book 2 wasn't any better than book 1. I mean out of all the likely suspects, the deputy almost killed her and for what? Because she kissed a biker. Really?

Also ..

“The School Board will return to a closed session and take a vote. We will notify Ms. Richards within the next forty-eight hours of our decision.”
Winter sat back down in her chair.

“Is that three days?” Crazy Bitch asked

“Yes,” answered T.A.

Okay...the last time I checked 48 hours was two days.
