I felt that this book had a little less external conflict than the other books in this series, making it go a little too smoothly. Of course not everything is smooth sailing. Bridget, Gavin and Liam meet when the men come to Marysburg on a private investigator case, looking for Liam's friend Fiona's family. It turns out that Deirdre, Maeve and Bridget are her half sisters. But that's not the only problem, Bridget has never wanted mates, for as far back as she can remember. The triad have to figure out why that is to be able to make their relationship work. It helps that Gavin and Liam are already friends and are able to work together to help her figure out the problem.

This MMF ‘wolf’ short story was entertaining but they never shifted into wolf form so the reader never got a chance to get inside the head of any person’s ‘wolf’; but I still enjoyed the story.
