I really loved the narrator of this audio book and the main plot was excellent, but there were way too many characters, alter egos and extraneous characters like Damian’s girlfriend. That said, twisting plot to the end and believable perp. Too many loose ends though. Or are they still in hangar at Andrews awaiting interrogation?

I thoroughly enjoyed this Alex Cross story. It hit a little different in that there are 5 Assassin's on the loose in DC. A political who-done-it with a couple of decent enough twists.
Patterson details each assassin expertly and this book had a real fast paced feel to the action.
A good read, set up nicely for future books in the series.

This is why I think James Patterson is such an amazing author! His Alex Cross series is my favorite because he writes them alone. His co-authored books rarely rate as high with me.
This book has everything a murder/thriller/mystery fan enjoys. There were murders, chases, close calls, incredible detective work, and red herrings to spare. Add to this the sweet nature of the Cross family and you have a recipe for success in my opinion. The pages flew by so quickly. My reading opportunities have decreased lately, but found myself making time for this one. It grabbed me from the start and led me on a wild crime filled adventure that lasted until the very last page.
If you enjoy the Cross series, this one will not disappoint.
