This weird little collection of weird little stories about queer rural goth trash has carved out a weird little space in my heart.

Most of these stories connected with the small town lady in me. Levels of spooky, being different in a small town, influences of religion, military, ghosts and UFOs. All rang true with my experiences growing up, and it was great to be able to read stories that spoke to those experiences and people I grew up around, with a unique storytelling perspective. I loved it!

A beautiful and extremely poignant depiction of life in the flyover states and small town, rural areas across America as any kind of outsider. So many of these stories spoke so closely to my soul and to real life experiences I've had or known people who've had. Highly recommend.
