I love the art and the character development, though I wish the characters and world were a little more fleshed-out. Though the story felt rushed at times, it was a nice way to spend a couple hours overall. I enjoyed being able to see Detroit landmarks, and the time period and plays with journalism worked well for this piece.

I liked this a lot, but I think I'd like it better without the supernatural element. I wasn't expecting that going in and it caught me off guard.

I love the art style and color aesthetic. The page layouts are creative and interesting. I like the story but mostly I'm just in love with Elena.

I was stuck in a reading rut all of yesterday which is the absolute WORST. So I turned to graphic novels like I always do! I’m so glad I did because Abbott was a fucking blast.

So, here’s the funny thing about Abbott. We have this monthly subscription program at work where we get to choose items for patrons based on their likes, dislikes, and previous checkout history. The amount of times I’ve chosen Abbott for someone is ungodly

This was amazing in every way. I love Sci-fi and work as a reporter, so this was right up my alley. Can we get another Abbott case, please?!

When I was a kid in the 70’s, I could only talk my mom into buying me comics during summer family road trips. I stocked up with about a dozen & had to make them last until the next summer so I read & reread them all year long until they fell apart & Silly Putty wouldn’t lift the images any longer. The old school tribute here of Abbott’s artwork, colors, and lettering invoked some fun nostalgia in me such that I could almost sense the newsprint feeling on my fingertips as I turned the page on my e-reader. This strong female MC detective noir comic definitely has that throwback vibe including all the cheesy stereotypes and cookie cutter plot line. I enjoyed it none the less.
