This is a graphic novel of one of the longest running animes in history. With over 1000 books this manga will keep me going for a while. Book 1 was an incredible start to the series giving us an introduction to the lovable Luffy (said loo-fee) and his paternal figure Shanks. I will find the author and slap him if anything happens to Shanks so help me gods. But this is a really sweet book. A heads up to all those anime watchers who plan to read this, Zorro’s name is spelt differently but it is still pronounced the same.
