I watched the anime years ago, but the show's pacing became too atrocious as it caught up to the manga. I miss my pirates so I thought I'd try reading it - this will be my first ever manga read! The series has over 100 books. I have no intention of writing reviews for all of them, although I might comment on an arc every once in a while.

Es re fresco y entretenido. Lo leído ya lo había visto en la serie, pero la idea es leerlo todo asi que ahí vamos por el One Piece!

It's an incredible debut, the first chapter in particular is just spectacular. The heart, the action, the comedy - it's all there from the beginning, Oda knew what he was doing from the very start. Hard to believe these first 8 chapters were first published in Japan in 1997 and this same series published it's one thousand and first chapter literally 7 days ago.
